The US government has urged it citizens to make preparations for an immediate evacuation back to the US. US citizens got stuck in different countries around the world for couple of months due to COVID 19 outbreak. And the reason why they couldn’t return back home is because all international airports and airline companies were force to shut down. Now the US government has made preparation to return its citizens back home.
Their consulates are working around the clock to bring Americans home from all over the world. At the moment the US embassies have evacuated hundreds of US citizens and their family members from Ghana, Mali, India, Guinea, Curacao, and Columbia. We will bring you updates of the rest of the countries and the total number of US citizens sent home later when we become aware.
According to the US Department of State Americans should not delay travelling home because transportation options may soon be unavailable. And Americans who need assistance returning to the US must:
